I completed a degree in Fine Art and Community Education in 2009, and since
then have been exploring my own style and technique of art.
work explores an interpretation of the female figure through different forms of drawing, expressing my view of the female
form by sculpting out the curves and lines of the female figure which is central to my work. I like to work using simple lines
to define and capture the pure and flowing curves of the female figure, add a bit of complexity, and go from there. This approach
works well in my drawing and has led me to create many abstractions of the female figure in my work. I have discovered that
my best work seems to come from developing my approach to keep it fresh, but still creating that sensual element of the female
figure. I am experimenting with a form of etching my drawings onto tiles and slate, as well as developing my my work in the
form of glass. And I am now doing glass and wire jewellery.
